J. Garry Clark

Executive Director of the Ontario Prospectors Association (OPA)

Garry Clark is the Executive Director of the Ontario Prospectors Association (OPA). Garry has been a Director, Vice President or President of the OPA since its’ formation in the early 1990’s. Garry has been Executive Director of the OPA since the restructuring in 2000. The restructuring focused on providing the mineral explorers of the Province a stronger voice for issues that affect them. Garry graduated with an HBSc (Geology) from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay in 1983. After University he held various exploration Geological positions with Major and Junior explorers. In the late 1980’s Garry began his consulting career. He continues to consult with projects across Ontario and overseas.

He serves on various committees and boards that support the mineral explorers of the Province. Some of these include the Minister of Mines Mining Act Advisory Committee and Ontario Geological Survey Advisory Board.

Garry presently is a Director of two junior explorers that explore in North America and Mongolia.
